Will Levis Fantasy Football Outlook
While there was chatter that both Will Levis and Malik Willis would see playing time last week with Ryan Tannehill ruled out for the Titans, Levis ended up playing 97% of the team's snaps.
Levis was impressive in the 28-23 victory, as he was 19-for-29 for 238 yards with four touchdown passes in his NFL debut. Three of those touchdown passes went to wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins.
It's hard to know what to expect from the second-round pick this week. It's tough to trust rookies in fantasy football, but Will Levis was very impressive in his first NFL action.
Should I Start Will Levis in Week 9?
Will Levis is ranked as the overall QB18 in RotoBaller's fantasy football rankings this week. He sits just behind Bryce Young and ahead of Mac Jones.
That ranking seems accurate. Levis was great in his first game, but he's also a rookie making his first primetime start this week. The matchup against the Steelers is a fairly neutral one, as they allow the 18th-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks.
Fantasy managers who need an upside play at QB this week can give Will Levis a look, but temper expectations. Last week's numbers were a great start, but can Levis capture lightning in a bottle for the second week in a row? He's a high-ceiling, low-floor option on Thursday.
