Rookie Ricky Pearsall, wide receiver for the San Francisco 49ers, is beginning to make an impact. In Week 10 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Pearsall scored his first NFL touchdown on a 46-yard deep pass from quarterback Brock Purdy.
He finished the game with four catches on six targets for 73 yards and the score. While operating as the WR3 for the 49ers behind Deebo Samuel Sr. and Jauan Jennings, the Florida alum was the only wide receiver to find the end zone in the team's 23-20 victory.
His growing role in the offense makes him an intriguing play for this week.

Ricky Pearsall Fantasy Football Outlook
This week, the 49ers face the Seattle Seahawks, a defense that has struggled somewhat against wide receivers this season. While the Seahawks were on a bye in Week 10, their Week 9 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams revealed significant vulnerabilities. Rams wideouts saw 35 targets, caught 22 passes, and amassed 263 yards.

Seattle has surrendered 122 or more receiving yards to wide receivers in seven of their nine games this season, and they have given up 20 or more targets to the position in four of those contests. These numbers indicate a promising matchup for Pearsall and the other 49ers' receiving corps.
Pearsall saw six targets in the contest with the Buccaneers. He should continue to see work moving forward, especially after such an explosive game.
Should I Start Ricky Pearsall in Week 11?
As the WR3 in the 49ers' offense, the 24-year-old may not see the same volume as Samuel or Jennings, but his big-play ability makes him a fascinating option in fantasy football.

In a game where the 49ers could exploit Seattle's secondary, Pearsall has a realistic path to another productive outing.
Fantasy managers can confidently plug Pearsall into their WR3 or flex spots this week, particularly in deeper leagues. He offers a solid floor with upside in what should be a favorable game script taking on the Seahawks.
