Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb has been one of the best players on offense in the NFL over the past few years. The superstar running back is the heart and soul of the Browns’ offense.
Unfortunately, he hasn’t played over the first six weeks this season because of a knee injury. Chubb suffered a gruesome knee injury in Week 2 of the 2023 season against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The veteran running back needed multiple surgeries to repair his knee.
When will Chubb make his season debut? Could he play in Week 7? Let’s dive into it.

Will Nick Chubb Play In Week 7?
The Browns designed Chubb to return from the Physically Unable to Perform list earlier this month, opening up a 21-day practice window. The superstar running back missed the past two weeks despite being eligible to play. However, Chubb is expected to make his season debut in Week 7 at home against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Should I Start Nick Chubb In Week 7?
Many Brown fans hope Chubb’s return to the lineup will fix the team’s problems on offense. Unfortunately, that won’t happen. However, the superstar running back will help the team’s struggling rushing attack.
Meanwhile, the Bengals have surrendered 21 half-point PPR fantasy points per game to running backs this season, one of the higher averages in the NFL. Last week, they gave up 107 scrimmage yards, a touchdown, and 19.7 fantasy points to Tyrone Tracy Jr. Yet, fantasy players should avoid starting Chubb this week.
Reportedly, Cleveland wants to ease Chubb back into the lineup. The team will limit his touches, giving him a few weeks to ramp up his workload before making him the featured guy again.

Unfortunately, fantasy players should wait at least one week, if not two, before starting Chubb. Expect the veteran running back to have a limited role in Week 7, totaling single-digit touches.
