BALLER MOVE: Start in all formats
POSITIONAL VALUE: Mid-range TE1
ANALYSIS: David Njoku remains a high-upside option at tight end, thanks to his explosive athleticism and ability to generate big plays. Through 2024, Njoku has posted 39 receptions for 336 yards and two touchdowns, solid numbers considering he missed three games earlier this season with an injury.
Now back to full health, Njoku has become a focal point in the Browns’ passing game, especially after the team traded away veteran wide receiver Amari Cooper.
Over the last five games, Njoku has been peppered with targets, seeing 44 looks during that span. That volume is gold for fantasy managers, particularly at a position as inconsistent as tight end. Njoku’s athleticism and versatility make him a matchup nightmare for defenses.
While the Browns’ passing game has been up and down with Jameis Winston under center, Njoku has established himself as a reliable option. His role as a safety valve for Winston should continue, even in a tough Week 12 matchup against the Steelers.
David Njoku is averaging 16.9 PPR points per game since the Amari Cooper trade.

With six teams on a bye this week, the tight end pool is thinner than usual, making Njoku a strong start despite the potential weather conditions in Cleveland on Thursday Night Football. The Steelers’ defense is no pushover, and the elements could play a factor, but Njoku’s target share and big-play potential keep him in the high-end TE1 conversation.
