Detroit Lions running back David Montgomery got out to a hot start in his first two games with the organization. He handled 37 rushes, putting up 141 yards and two touchdowns. Unfortunately, he was banged up in Week 2 and missed the Week 3 game against the Atlanta Falcons.
The Lions played on Thursday Night Football, so his availability will affect Week 4 start-or-sit decisions right away. There's nothing worse than beginning to week with a fantasy bust in your lineup, so we have his latest update.

Is David Montgomery Injured or Playing in Week 4?
Montgomery (thigh) is officially questionable to face the Packers on Thursday night. Dan Campbell said he feels good about the running back's chances to play early in the week, but you can never take a coach's words as a certainty.
Fantasy managers will need to wait until Thursday when the official inactives report comes out about 90 minutes before kickoff.
David Montgomery Fantasy Football Outlook for Week 4
If Montgomery suits up, he could be at risk of having a reduced workload. That's worrisome for your first lineup start of the week. However, if your running back depth is lacking, you might want to go ahead and roll with him. He should at least operate as the team's primary goal line back -- which could yield an RB1 week.
He's a better standard league option since he doesn't have pass-catching upside. That said, he's a great option in all formats if he gets a full workload.
If he's out for Week 4, rookie Jahmyr Gibbs is a must-start in all formats based on his projected touch total. The Packers have allowed the 11th-most fantasy points to running back thus far, so Gibbs would have RB1 after handling 18 touches in Montgomery's absence last week.
