Joshua Dobbs Fantasy Football Outlook
In Joshua Dobbs' Vikings debut, he came off the bench to replace an injured Jaren Hall. Dobbs was 20-for-30 for 158 yards and two touchdowns and also added seven carries for 66 yards and a score.
In his first start last week he was 23-for-34 for 268 yards and a touchdown. He also had eight rushing attempts for 44 yards and a touchdown. Going back to his time with Arizona, Dobbs has now found the end zone on the ground in four consecutive games.
With his ability to scramble and gain yards with his feet, Joshua Dobbs is an intriguing fantasy option going forward. He's been one of the top fantasy QBs since joining the Vikings.
Should I Start Joshua Dobbs in Week 11?
Joshua Dobbs doesn't appear to have had any issues getting up to speed with the Vikings, as he's played impressive football from the moment he stepped on the field for the team.
Four games in a row with a rushing touchdown plus 40-plus rushing yards in three of those games showcase that his running ability is fairly reliable, upping both his fantasy ceiling and his fantasy floor.
Joshua Dobbs is ranked in RotoBaller's consensus rankings as a high-end QB2 play this week, but you can make a good argument for him having QB1 upside once again against a Denver Broncos defense that has struggled much of the year, though it's improved more recently. However you call it, Dobbs looks like a player who has a lot of fantasy upside in Week 11.
