Indianapolis Colts running back Zack Moss is on the fantasy football radar after Jonathan Taylor (ankle) was placed on Injured Reserve, effectively ending his season. Moss was traded to Indianapolis from the Buffalo Bills just before the trade deadline, but he hasn't had much fantasy relevance until now.
Moss will have to compete with Deon Jackson for touches down the stretch, but he has an opportunity to score fantasy points at a position that has been bitten by injuries all season.
Is Moss worth picking up ahead of Week 16 and what is his fantasy outlook moving forward? Let's find out.

What Did Zack Moss Do In Week 15?
In Week 15 against the Minnesota Vikings, Moss rushed 24 times for 81 yards but did not catch any passes or score any touchdowns. However, he out-touched Deon Jackson, who rushed 13 times for 55 yards and caught one pass for a one-yard touchdown. That said, Jackson scored more fantasy points, but it was Moss who had the larger workload.
Ultimately, the Colts' failed to run the ball efficiently, which led to its demise as it squandered a 33-point lead. Either way, Moss' respectable workload finds him on the fantasy football radar.
Should I Pickup Zack Moss Off the Waiver Wire in Fantasy Football?
As a lead back for the Colts, Moss should be rostered in all leagues of 12 teams or more. Although he is stuck in a "1A-1B" backfield with Jackson, he's now on one of the most run-heavy teams with a quarterback that loves to check it down when the Colts do pass.
Moss is set to match up with one of the worst run defenses in the NFL on Monday Night, so he has immediate flex appeal against the Los Angeles Chargers. It's important for fantasy managers to know there is risk with Moss, though. The Colts' touch distribution might be tough to predict, and they've given Jackson a workhorse role in the past. One would think they'd like to see what they have in Moss before the season ends, but that's far from a certainty.
Stick with stud running backs before going all in on Moss, but he's worth picking up as a flex option or simply to block your league mates from acquiring him.
