As we enter November and Week 9 of the NFL season, some fantasy managers might still be searching for help at the always-difficult TE position.
New York Jets TE Tyler Conklin put forth a strong showing against the New England Patriots in Week 8.
Is this a sign of things to come for Conklin in Week 9 and beyond? Should you pick him up in fantasy leagues after his Week 8 showing?

What Did Tyler Conklin Do In Week 8?
An offseason acquisition from the Minnesota Vikings, Tyler Conklin had his best day since joining the New York Jets in Week 8.
Playing from behind for most of the day against the New England Patriots, Conklin was targeted 10 times. He snagged six catches for 79 yards and a pair of TDs in New York's divisional loss. All of which were highs for him since he joined Gang Green.

Should I Pickup Tyler Conklin Off the Waiver Wire in Fantasy Football?
It has been a season of peaks and valleys for Conklin. He opened the year by putting up serviceable fantasy TE production with Joe Flacco at the helm of the Jets' offense. However, Conklin's numbers have noticeably dipped since Zach Wilson returned from injury in Week 4.
Even taking into account five games spent with Wilson pulling the trigger, Conklin still currently stands as the overall TE6 in PPR fantasy leagues. He has led the Jets in targets in each of the last two weeks.
Outside of elite options like Travis Kelce and Mark Andrews, TE is perhaps the toughest position in fantasy football to find consistent scoring. While Conklin will likely have some less-than-stellar days as long as Zach Wilson remains at the helm of this run-heavy Jets' offense, he's certainly worth a pickup in 12+ team leagues. He's a solid streaming option for those looking to overcome injuries or bye weeks at the frustrating TE position.
