New Orleans Saints offensive weapon Taysom Hill finished as a top-10 tight end for the second straight week.
Hill, who is listed as a tight end for fantasy purposes, makes plays running the football, catching passes, and throwing passes. He doesn't always get a lot of touches, but when he does, he pops. Last season, he finished as the TE2 in standard scoring and the TE8 in PPR.
This past week, Hill went off. After his big games in Weeks 6 and 7, should you add Taysom Hill to your fantasy team?

What Did Taysom Hill Accomplish In Week 7?
Hill showed off his athleticism as a rusher and a receiver. He ran the ball five times for 18 yards, including a one-yard touchdown run. Hill scored nine touchdowns last season, but the touchdown this week was his first of the season.
More importantly, he was used in the passing game more frequently. He made four catches for 50 yards. The week before, he made 49 catches. Prior to Week 6, his season-high was one catch for nine yards. He ran over 30 routes in each of the past two weeks, while he had never run more than 18 routes in a game in the first five weeks.
Hill is mostly catching short passes, but he is good at adding yards after the catch. More than 70 percent of his receptions have come nine yards or closer to the line of scrimmage. In the past two weeks, however, Hill's average depth of target has increased. He was targeted about eight yards down the field.
Is Taysom Hill A Good Fantasy Football Pickup for Week 8?
Compare two tight ends who might be available on the waiver wire: Taysom Hill and Gerald Everett. Hill currently has the No. 16 best average weekly rank, while Everett has the No. 17 best average rank. Hill has scored 32.5 points in standard scoring. Everett has scored 27.3, and he has caught four more passes than Hill has.
But Taysom Hill has finished as a top-nine tight end twice, including as the TE6 in Week 6. Everett has only finished as a top-nine tight end once, which was this past week. Everett has finished ahead of Hill three times in the first four weeks, but most of the time, he's finishing as one of the top 30 tight ends.
In Week 1, Hill was TE50, and Everett was TE29. In Week 4, they were TE38 and TE36. The difference between TE50 and TE29 is irrelevant to most fantasy football outcomes.
Taysom Hill is a good fantasy tight end even if he is boom-bust. His boom weeks can help you win games.
