Randall Cobb has been one of Aaron Rodgers' favorite targets during his 10 years as a Green Bay Packer, and the 32-year-old had his best game of the season in the loss to the New York Giants in London.
While Cobb is past his prime as an electric playmaker in space, it's clear Rodgers trusts him, so he's entering the fantasy radar heading into Week 6. Fantasy managers in shallow and deep leagues are always looking to improve their rosters at the flex spot, so he's worth mentioning in the waiver wire and free agent hunt.
With bye weeks beginning and some notable wide receivers out of action, should Cobb be a strong consideration to add to fantasy rosters?

What Did Randall Cobb Do Last Week?
Cobb caught seven of his 13 targets for 99 yards in the Week 5 loss. It was his highest target game since he saw 14 of them in Week 15 of the 2017 NFL season. He posted over a 35-percent target share and looked like the player he once was during his first stint with the Packers.
After a strong showing, Cobb grades as a top-five wide receiver, per Pro Football Focus data. Whether you're into PPF grades or not, it's impressive to see a 32-year-old wideout that high in the rankings through five weeks.
Should I Pickup Randall Cobb Off The Waiver Wire In Fantasy Football?
Although Cobb had a nice fantasy performance, it's tough to trust him moving forward in fantasy lineups. It was just his first game of the season producing over 7.7 PPR fantasy points, and this Green Bay offense isn't as good as it's been in the past. Green Bay ranks 22nd in points per game (19.4) and prefers to play slow, while often opting to run the ball.
Ultimately, the wide receiver waiver wire is usually slim, so he's worth adding in deep leagues for fantasy managers who are wide receiver needy. However, Allen Lazard should still be viewed as the No. 1 wideout in Green Bay, and Romeo Doubs and Christian Watson are going to be factors moving forward. Sammy Watkins (hamstring) will also eventually return for injured reserve.
Cobb can be used as a decent one-week fill-in, but since his role is going to vary widely week-to-week, he's not a strong option in shallow leagues.
