Are you a risk taker? Do you consider yourself lucky? If you answered yes to either question, go get Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Julio Jones off the waiver wire.
Remember the good old days when Jones was drafted in the first or second round of fantasy football drafts and was known league-wide as one of the best wide receivers in the NFL? Well, my friends, those days are long gone.
Fast forward to 2022, and you will find the current Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR on the outside looking in, trying with everything in his power to regain fantasy relevancy. Due mainly to injuries, Jones has been unable to contribute in fantasy formats for quite some time.

Should I Pickup Julio Jones For Fantasy Football in Week 13?
Before we look ahead, let's take a look back. Jones' label in recent years as "injury-prone" is acutely accurate. He has missed more games than he has played, and this season, he has appeared in only six games.
In those appearances, he has averaged 8.6 fantasy points and 4.1 targets while adding 14 receptions for 218 yards and two touchdowns.
He is still one of the most talented receivers in the game, he just hasn't been able to stay healthy.
Will Julio Jones Be A Solid Fantasy Football Performer Down The Stretch?
If Jones isn't hurt, and you're thinking of adding him to your fantasy roster, keep in mind there is another problem.
After early season struggles, in recent weeks, Tampa Bay quarterback Tom Brady appears to finally have found his rhythm on offense, but Jones hasn't been a big part of that high-powered attack. Brady's two favorite receiving options, Chris Godwin and Mike Evans, are healthy and performing at high levels, commanding the most target shares.
Jones has often found himself as the third or even fourth option behind tight ends Cade Otton and Cameron Brate, which has also contributed to his limited fantasy production.
Should I Start Julio Jones in Week 13 of Fantasy Football?
Jones's talent level is astronomical, but unfortunately, his fantasy value is minuscule. His floor is low, and his ceiling isn't that high.
His best game in 2022 came in Week 10 against Seattle. He registered three catches on five targets for 53 yards and a touchdown for a total of 14.3 fantasy points.
If you are desperate for a flex player in deeper leagues, grab him off the waiver wire. In all other cases, stay away and find a safer solution than Jones.
