New England Patriots tight end Hunter Henry has had a second year with the team. Last season, the veteran was the TE8, averaging 6.7 half-point PPR fantasy points per game.
This year the former Arkansas Razorback is the TE20, averaging 4.8 fantasy points per contest. He has scored under 3.1 fantasy points in over half of the games this season.
The Patriots' passing attack has been inconsistent in 2022. However, Henry had a solid performance last week against the Miami Dolphins.

Should I Pickup Hunter Henry For Week 18?
In Week 17, the veteran tight end caught five of six targets for 52 receiving yards against the AFC East division rival. He also made a few impressive catches in the matchup. More importantly, Henry ended the game with 7.7 fantasy points, his best outing over the past three weeks.
Despite his solid performance on Sunday, fantasy players have no reason to add the former second-round pick to their fantasy teams.
Henry has scored more than 7.8 fantasy points in only two contests this season. The veteran tight end found the end zone in both games and averaged six targets per contest. Meanwhile, he has an awful matchup next week against the Buffalo Bills.
The AFC East division leaders have held tight ends to only 6.4 fantasy points per game this season. That is the second-fewest in the NFL heading into tonight’s matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals. More importantly, the Bills are the only team in the NFL not to give up a touchdown to tight ends this season.
In the Week 13 matchup against Buffalo, Henry had only two receptions for 13 yards and 2.3 fantasy points.
What Tight End Should I Target Off The Waiver Wire?
Instead of adding Henry, fantasy players should add Tyler Conklin off the waiver wire. The veteran tight end is available in over 60% of ESPN leagues.
The New York Jets tight end was a popular streaming option last week, and he didn’t let fantasy players down. Conklin caught all six of his targets for 80 receiving yards against the Seattle Seahawks, ending the game with 11 fantasy points.
This week he faces the Dolphins, who have surrendered 12.7 fantasy points per game to tight ends this season, one of the highest averages in the NFL. Over the past three weeks, tight ends have averaged 5.3 receptions for 71 receiving yards, one touchdown, and 15.8 fantasy points per game against Miami.
