Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Evan Engram has played well in his first year with the team. The former New York Giants tight end struggled with injuries and drops early in his career.
However, the former first-round pick has been a meaningful part of Jacksonville’s passing attack. He is third on the team in targets (74) and second in receiving touchdowns (four) this season.
More importantly, Engram has been a solid streaming option all year for fantasy players.

Should I Pickup Evan Engram After His Week 14 Performance?
Over the past two weeks, the veteran tight end has totaled 16 receptions on 22 targets for 192 receiving yards and three touchdowns. More importantly, he has scored 45.2 half-point PPR fantasy points over the past two weeks.
In Week 13, Engram had 11.5 fantasy points against the Detroit Lions. The former first-round pick caught five of his seven targets for 30 receiving yards and a touchdown in the loss.
However, the former Ole Miss star had a career performance yesterday against the Tennessee Titans. Engram caught 11 of 15 targets for 162 receiving yards and two touchdowns, totaling 33.7 fantasy points in the win. The targets, yards, and touchdowns were all career highs.
After his massive performance in Week 14, the veteran is now the TE4 for the year, averaging 8.3 fantasy points per game. Engram is still available in over 55% of ESPN leagues.
Fantasy players should have the veteran tight end as their top waiver claim this week.
What Other Waiver Wire Tight Ends Should I Consider?
If Engram isn’t available on the waiver wire, fantasy players should add Chigoziem Okonkwo. Last week the rookie caught all six targets for 45 receiving yards and his second touchdown of the season. He ended the game with 15.5 fantasy points, making him the TE2 for Week 14, only behind Engram.
Not only did he have his best fantasy performance of the year on Sunday, but his workload has been on the rise lately. The fourth-round rookie has played 45% or more of the snaps in three of the past four games. More importantly, he has 16 targets over the past three games, the second-most on the team during that span.
Fantasy players who can’t add Engram should make Okonkwo their top priority this week.
