New York Jets wide receiver Corey Davis is not a household name. He's not often drafted by fantasy football managers or a player that stirs excitement among football fans.
That said, Davis had one of his most productive games in a Jets uniform on Sunday, which raised some eyebrows, and made him an interesting waiver wire option for Week 14.
Is this a sign of things to come for Davis? Should you pick him up in fantasy leagues after his Week 13 showing? Let's take a closer look.

What Did Corey Davis Do in Week 13?
In Sunday's 27-22 loss to the Minnesota Vikings, Davis tied his season-high in targets (10) and finished with the most receiving yards (85) he's had in a single game this year.
Davis's performance on Sunday was interesting for multiple reasons, as fantasy managers prepare to place their waiver wire bids.
He made some big catches and was targeted often. He showed chemistry with his quarterback and was a big part of the offense. But the question still remains, is that sustainable heading into Week 14?
Are There Any Worrying Signs With Corey Davis Heading Into Week 14?
The raw numbers look good, but he only caught five of his 10 targets and was blamed for causing Jets quarterback Mike White's first-quarter interception. Also, this was only his second time playing with White. In their first outing together in Week 12 against the Bears, he saw only three targets for one reception and nine yards.
Davis does get a favorable matchup in Week 14 against the Bills, as Buffalo is allowing 12.9 receptions and 1.1 touchdowns per game to the wide receiver position, which is the eighth-worst in the NFL.
Should I Pickup Corey Davis for Fantasy Football Week 14?
Garrett Wilson is clearly White's favorite target, amassing a whopping 23 targets, 257 yards, and two touchdowns in two games. But when healthy, Davis is the clear number two.
White threw 57 times on Sunday, with Davis being targeted on 17% of the throws, which was second only to Wilson, who was thrown at 26% of the time. It was a rock-solid day for Davis, but there are red flags.
Davis has not shown the ability to stay on the field long enough to build the trust of fantasy managers. He has only 20 receptions on the year and two touchdowns while averaging 7.7 fantasy points in PPR formats. He is the clear second option for White in the Jets' 15th-ranked passing offense, but his inconsistency and injury history should have you looking to find someone more reliable on the waiver wire.
