Even with future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers leading the way, the Green Bay Packers have struggled offensively in 2022, particularly threw the air. Since the departure of Davante Adams last offseason, Rodgers has yet to find a trustworthy replacement. He may have finally found his man.
Rookie receiver Christian Watson exploded onto the scene Sunday afternoon with eight targets, four receptions, 107 receiving yards, and three touchdowns. All were season highs, making even fantasy football skeptics feel optimistic.
Is this a sign of things to come for Watson? Should you pick him up in fantasy leagues after his breakout performance?

Was Christian Watson's Huge Week 10 Performance A Sign Of Things To Come?
This is Watson's first NFL season, and before Sunday, he hadn't recorded more than 34 receiving yards in a game and had zero receiving touchdowns.
That means that on Sunday, Watson broke onto the fantasy scene with career highs across the board.
Watson had TD receptions of seven, 39, and 59 yards in the Packers' upset win over the Dallas Cowboys. After missing three games with concussion and hamstring injuries this season, a healthy Watson finally established himself as the Packers' best, most explosive receiver.
Will It Be Smooth Sailing For Christian Watson After His Week 10 Breakout?
The final numbers jump off the page. Three touchdowns are three touchdowns. Fantasy managers are smiling if they had Watson in their starting lineups on Sunday.
However, it wasn't all puppy dogs and rainbows for the rookie, as he had two bad drops in the first half, and also got confused on a Rodgers deep shot later in the game.
Perhaps the most important thing to note is that Watson had done nothing the first nine weeks of the season leading up to Sunday. Could this be a one-hit wonder, or is this sustainable?
Should I Pickup Christian Watson Off the Waiver Wire in Fantasy Football?
This is a tricky one. As a fantasy owner, do you ride the wave of his breakout, or convince yourself this will never happen again?
Cases can be made for both sides. His coach believes in him, but the question remains is if his star QB has finally put Watson in the circle of trust. If Sunday was any indication of that, Watson could be a key piece for fantasy playoff rosters.
But proceed with caution fantasy owners, this could go either way.
