Taysom Hill Fantasy Football Outlook
Last week, Taysom Hill made his biggest impact in the run game, with nine carries for 63 yards and two scores. He was targeted just once. That's a big part of what makes Hill so intriguing—you can never really project how he'll get his touches.
Hill's a threat to score any time he touches the ball and the Saints have been working to get him the ball, but he also has four games this season with 21 or fewer scrimmage yards. He's arguably got the highest ceiling of any tight end other than Travis Kelce, but he's also got a very low floor.
Should I Start Taysom Hill in Week 9?
As mentioned above, Hill is a great play if you're willing to take a risk. He might not end up doing much because it's hard to guess where his touches will come from, but if his role looks anything like it did last week, he has immense upside.
Fantasy managers who have a top-five tight end on their roster should go ahead and play one of those players. However, if you're someone who's been streaming tight ends or playing someone who gives you inconsistent production, why not throw Taysom Hill into your lineup? He has the ability to score multiple touchdowns, something that the majority of players with tight end eligibility can't do.
