Los Angeles Rams quarterback Baker Mayfield has had a wild 2022 season. After the Cleveland Browns traded for Deshaun Watson in the offseason, they sent Mayfield to the Carolina Panthers.
The former first-overall pick played in seven games for the Panthers, averaging only 0.9 passing touchdowns and 10.5 fantasy points per game. He also missed four games because of a high ankle sprain.
After getting benched, Mayfield asked to be released. Carolina let the quarterback go, and he got claimed by the Rams a day later.

Should I Pickup And Start Baker Mayfield In Week 15?
Despite being in Los Angeles for only a few days, Mayfield played against the Las Vegas Raiders last week. The former Oklahoma Sooner had 230 passing yards and a touchdown, scoring 14.2 fantasy points in the 17-16 win. More importantly, the veteran led the team on an impressive game-winning drive.
After his game-winning drive last week, should fantasy players add and start Mayfield this week against the Green Bay Packers?
What Quarterback Should I Pickup Off The Waiver Wire?
The former Oklahoma star is a solid waiver wire add for fantasy players in superflex leagues. The Packers have surrendered 21.8 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks over their past four contests, giving up 19 or more fantasy points in every matchup.
However, a safer option is Ryan Tannehill. The veteran quarterback is available in over 80% of ESPN leagues. He is a popular streaming option this week because of his fantasy-friendly matchup.
The Los Angeles Chargers played well last week and held Tua Tagovailoa to only 145 passing yards and 12.6 fantasy points. However, they surrendered two or more passing touchdowns in three straight games before last week’s matchup against the Miami Dolphins. Furthermore, the Chargers have surrendered 16.6 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks this season, above the league average.
Meanwhile, Tannehill has played well lately. Over the past five weeks, the veteran quarterback has averaged 16.4 fantasy points per game, scoring 17.8 or more fantasy points three times. Last week he had 254 passing yards and two touchdowns against the Jacksonville Jaguars despite missing Treylon Burks.
While Burks won’t play tomorrow against the Chargers, Tannehill is still a solid streaming option for Week 15.
