New Orleans Saints quarterback Andy Dalton has been wildly inconsistent this season. After Jameis Winston started the first three games this year, the former TCU star has started the past 10 contests.
The former Cincinnati Bengal is the QB24 for the year, averaging 14.1 fantasy points per game. However, the veteran has scored fewer than 11 fantasy points in half of his games this season.
By comparison, Dalton has scored 17 or more fantasy points in only 20% of the games this year. Should fantasy players trust the veteran quarterback this week against the Atlanta Falcons?

Should I Pickup And Start Andy Dalton In Week 15?
The former TCU star has struggled over the past two games, throwing only one touchdown pass. Despite his poor performance, head coach Dennis Allen said Dalton will start in Week 15.
However, should fantasy players start the former second-round pick this week? The answer is no. Dalton has scored fewer than 13.4 fantasy points in four of the past five games. Furthermore, the veteran has thrown one or fewer passing touchdowns in 70% of the games this year.
Meanwhile, Atlanta has done well slowing down opposing quarterbacks lately. Over their past five games, the Falcons have held quarterbacks to only one passing touchdown and 13 fantasy points per game.
What Quarterback Should I Pickup Off The Waiver Wire?
Instead of adding Dalton, fantasy players should target Ryan Tannehill off their waiver wire. The veteran quarterback is available in over 80% of ESPN leagues. Tannehill is a popular streaming option this week because of his fantasy-friendly matchup.
The Los Angeles Chargers played well last week and held Tua Tagovailoa to only 145 passing yards and 12.6 fantasy points. However, they surrendered two or more passing touchdowns in three straight games before last week’s matchup against the Miami Dolphins. Furthermore, the Chargers have surrendered 16.6 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks this season, above the league average.
Meanwhile, Tannehill has played well lately. Over the past five weeks, the veteran quarterback has averaged 16.4 fantasy points per game, scoring 17.8 or more fantasy points three times. Last week he had 254 passing yards and two touchdowns against the Jacksonville Jaguars despite missing Treylon Burks.
While Burks won’t play tomorrow against the Chargers, Tannehill is still a solid streaming option for Week 15.
