As we exit Week 14 of the NFL season, fantasy managers must weigh some surprising statistical performances when looking at the upcoming waiver wire period, including a strong outing from New York Giants wide receiver Richie James.
James has filled in admirably for a Giants receiving corps that's been decimated by injuries in 2022 and he had another nice outing against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.
What did James do in Week 14? Should you pick up and start him in Week 15?

What Did Richie James Do In Week 14?
With both Sterling Shepard and Wan'Dale Robinson sidelined with season-ending injuries, the New York Giants receiving corps has been destroyed by injuries. One receiver that's stepped up to fill the void is Richie James.
The 27-year-old has 361 yards and three TDs on 38 catches this season. He most recently posted his best fantasy outing of the season against the Eagles in Week 14 by bringing in seven of nine targets for 61 yards and a score.
Should I Pick Up and Start Richie James In Week 15?
All the numbers count in fantasy football and that includes James' garbage-time bonanza against Philly. With the game well out of hand, James hooked up with back-up QB Tyrod Taylor for his third TD of the year.
James has now posted double-digit fantasy scores in three of New York's last four games, although that output has been padded by his ability to find the end zone at a high rate.
Fantasy managers in deeper leagues that might have some interest in James will need to monitor his health status closely ahead of Week 15. He was injured in Sunday's loss to the Eagles and is currently in the NFL's concussion protocol. With fantasy production that is something of a mirage, his head injury makes it easy for GMs in most leagues to skip James this week.
