Darrell Henderson Jr. Week 10 Waiver Wire Outlook
Running back has been a tough position for the Rams this season. Kyren Williams is hurt. Cam Akers was traded. The two players currently playing running back for the team, Darrell Henderson Jr. and Royce Freeman, weren't on the team at the beginning of the year.
Henderson had 66 scrimmage yards in his season debut and followed that up with 85 scrimmage yards the next week against the Cowboys, but things didn't go so well in Week 9 against the Packers.
Henderson carried the ball 10 times for 19 yards in the team's 20-3 loss to the Packers. He added two receptions for 16 yards. The Rams are on a bye in Week 10.
Should I Pickup Darrell Henderson Jr. in Week 10?
The Rams won't play in Week 10, with the team's next game scheduled for Week 11 when they take on the Seattle Seahawks.
That game will be the final of the required four-game absence for Williams, who has been on the IR with a sprained ankle. The team sounds confident that Williams will be back for Week 12 when he's eligible to return.
With just one more game ahead of him as the Rams starter and a bye this week, there's just not a ton of upside for fantasy managers in leagues where Henderson remains on the wire. He has some streaming appeal in deeper leagues, but he's likely already rostered in those formats and can't be added off the wire. In most 12-team leagues where he's still available, he can be left there. If anything, you can try to grab him ahead of Week 11, when the Rams are actually playing a football game.
