The Arizona Cardinals traded starting quarterback Joshua Dobbs to the Vikings this week. With Kyler Murray not quite ready to return to the starting role, it appears that rookie Clayton Tune will get the start in Week 9.
With Tune unlikely to hold the starting job for long, should fantasy managers ignore this, or is he a streaming option as long as he holds the starting job?
Should fantasy managers pick up Arizona Cardinals quarterback Clayton Tune in Week 9? Read on for the latest waiver wire analysis.

What Did Clayton Tune Do Last Week?
Clayton Tune is set to make the first start of his NFL career when the Cardinals visit the Cleveland Browns in Week 9. Tune only has played one play during his NFL career, completing a four-yard pass to Michael Wilson against the Seahawks in Week 7. The Cardinals lined up to punt but changed formations on the play, putting the ball in Tune's hands.
Last week against the Baltimore Ravens, Clayton Tune didn't play a single snap as Joshua Dobbs played quarterback for the full game.
In his final season with the Houston Cougars, Tune completed 67.3% of his passes for 4,074 yards and 40 t0uchdowns and 10 interceptions. In five college seasons, Tune threw for 104 touchdowns, with 70 of those coming 0ver his final two seasons.
Clayton Tune Waiver Wire Outlook for Week 9
While Clayton Tune is set to start in Week 9, his starting role is set to last for a fairly short time, as Kyler Murray is off the Injured Reserve and should be the Cardinals starting quarterback once healthy.
As a UH alum, I'm personally rooting for Clayton Tune, but fantasy managers should go ahead and leave him on the waiver wire this week. He'll likely only have the starting job for one or two weeks. Considering his lack of NFL experience, there's not much streaming upside for Tune.
