Since losing Breece Hall to a season-ending knee injury in Week 7, the New York Jets have been scrambling to maintain their run game. The acquisition of James Robinson sparked hope following the loss of Hall. The former Jaguar has disappointed, to say the least, having yet to hit 100 total scrimmage yards in a Jets uniform.
Undrafted rookie free agent Zonovan Knight made his NFL debut in Week 12 and has led New York in rushing yards in all three games he's been active. Knight has averaged 18.7 touches per game during that stretch.
Does he possess enough real playoff upside to warrant picking him up for fantasy football? Let's find out.

How Did Zonovan Knight Play In Week 14?
Against the Buffalo Bills, who sport the fourth-best rush defense in the league, Zonovan Knight ran for 71 yards and a touchdown. Adding two catches for six yards, the rookie from North Carolina State totaled 15.7 points. His Week 15 performance was highlighted by an impressive 14-yard touchdown where he evaded four defenders.
Nicknamed "Bam", Knight has fulfilled the void that fellow rookie Breece Hall created with his departure. After winning Rookie of the Week this past week, Zonovan Knight is a valuable fantasy asset for the rest of the season.
Should I Pickup Zonovan Knight in Fantasy Football?
The 21-year-old has impressed with every opportunity he's been given. Knight is the RB10 over the past three weeks, averaging 15.3 PPG. Michael Carter out-snapped the rookie this past week against Buffalo, but it's evident who New York prefers with the ball in their hands. Carter touched the ball 11 fewer times than his backfield mate.
The Jets are currently battling for a playoff spot, sitting at 7-6 and fourth in the AFC East. The Patriots have the same record as New York and hold the last AFC wild-card spot. Every game has significant playoff implications from here on out for Robert Saleh's squad.
Zach Wilson is expected to be under center for New York this week after Mike White left Week 14 with an injury. Wilson has made headlines for his poor chemistry with the rest of the Jets team. As the Jets head back home into the cold, with another quarterback change underway, Zonovan Knight is due for a heavy workload in the fantasy playoffs.
