With multiple low-end QB1s such as Tom Brady (at Bengals), Jared Goff (at Jets), and Trevor Lawrence (vs. Cowboys) facing tough matchups in Week 15, Tennessee Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill is on the fantasy radar after a solid performance last week.
Tannehill hasn't had a great season, but he's proven capable of producing QB1 fantasy numbers over the last two seasons, so he's not been written off just yet.
Is Tannehill worth picking up and starting in Week 15? The fantasy football playoffs are here in most leagues, so it's more important than ever before to make the right decisions in lineups.

What Did Ryan Tannehill Do Last Week?
In Week 14, Tannehill completed 25 of his 38 passing attempts for 254 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception in the loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. He finished the week as the QB12, so anyone who started him got what they hoped for. It marked his fifth QB1 game on the season, so although he hasn't been a consistent low-end QB1 like in 2020 and 2021, he's paid off on multiple occasions.
In a week with plenty of banged-up quarterbacks as well as signal-callers with tough matchups, he's a real consideration for Week 15 against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Should I Pick Up and Start Ryan Tannehill In Week 15?
Tannehill has a wide range of outcomes on Sunday, as the Chargers have allowed the 13th-most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season, but they also have allowed the third-most rushing up to this point. If Tennessee has its way, this will be a run-heavy, kill-the-clock offense to keep Justin Herbert and company off the field. However, Tennessee's defense has arguably the worst secondary in the league and with the Chargers' wide receivers finally getting healthy, L.A. might score with ease. If the Titans are behind early, Tannehill will be forced into a pass-happy game script.
If that happens, he'll have a solid chance of putting another QB1 performance together. Ultimately, Tannehill's floor and ceiling have been limited this season because of an ankle injury that has affected his rushing upside. His fantasy production is fragile and dependent on how the game plays out, so he's not a surefire top-tier streaming option.
Put simply, fantasy managers should start any quarterback above Tannehill on our Week 15 QB rankings, but if Tannehill is the best streamer available he's a fine play. Just know that he has a boom-or-bust outlook in this spot. It's worth noting wide receiver Treylon Burks (concussion) and primary pass-catching running back Dontrell Hilliard (neck) are out for this contest.
