Las Vegas Raiders running back Zamir White has been one of the biggest fantasy football busts over the first four weeks. The third-year running back was a popular breakout candidate after he dominated to end the 2023 season.
However, he has been awful. White is the RB56, averaging 3.8 half-point PPR fantasy points per game this year, totaling 5.3 or fewer in every contest.
Is it time for fantasy players to drop the veteran running back, or will he turn it around over the next few weeks? Let’s take a look.

Should I Drop Zamir White?
White was the focal point of the Raiders’ offense late last season after Josh Jacobs got hurt, totaling nearly 100 rushing yards per game. However, he has been terrible this year. The veteran had a season-high 50 rushing yards in Week 4. Yet, he scored only three fantasy points.
More importantly, head coach Antonio Piece said Alexander Mattison has played well and deserves more touches moving forward. Therefore, fantasy players can feel confident dropping White. He fumbled last week, has a limited role in the passing game, and hasn’t had a rushing touchdown over the first month. It’s time to move on.

“He’s deserved more reps. And he’ll get ‘em.”

Who Can I Add Off The Waiver Wire?
Unfortunately, there aren’t many excellent running back options on the waiver wire this week. However, Tank Bigsby is a solid target, especially in deeper leagues. The second-year running back had 12 rushing attempts for 73 yards and 7.3 fantasy points in Week 1.
Bigsby struggled over the next two weeks because of injury. However, he was productive in Week 4, totaling seven rushing attempts for 90 yards and nine fantasy points, averaging 12.9 yards per attempt.

The second-year running back is rostered in only 12% of Yahoo leagues. Travis Etienne Jr. missed part of Sunday’s game with a shoulder injury. More importantly, Bigsby could see more work on offense if Etienne continues to struggle.
