Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett was once a fantasy football star. However, the veteran wide receiver’s days as a must-start option for fantasy players are over.
The Seahawks’ passing attack flows through DK Metcalf and Jaxon Smith-Njigba, leaving Lockett fighting for targets. While he has some solid fantasy performance, the veteran wide receiver has more poor outings than productive ones.
Should fantasy football players drop the former star wide receiver, or does Lockett have value in standard-size leagues?

Should I Drop Tyler Lockett?
Lockett is the WR46 for the year, averaging 7.8 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. The veteran wide receiver was solid in the two games with Metcalf earlier this season, totaling four receptions on seven targets for 72 receiving yards, a touchdown, and 15.2 fantasy points.
However, he struggled in Week 11 with the star wide receiver back in the lineup, catching two of his three targets for 19 receiving yards and 2.9 fantasy points in the win over the San Francisco 49ers. More importantly, Lockett saw significantly fewer targets than Metcalf and Smith-Njigba.

DK Metcalf: 9

Fantasy players in standard-size leagues can drop the veteran wide receiver this week. Unless Metcalf misses time again with an injury, Lockett has limited fantasy upside.
Who Can I Add Off The Waiver Wire?
The Los Angeles Chargers passing attack has come to life lately after a rough start to the season. Quentin Johnston has played a massive role in the team’s success. He is the WR40 for the year, averaging 10.4 half-point PPR fantasy points per game.
Last week, Johnston had 48 receiving yards, a touchdown, and 11.8 fantasy points in the win over the Cincinnati Bengals. Furthermore, the second-year pro has become a scoring machine. He has a touchdown in three consecutive contests.

Johnston is rostered in only 41% of Yahoo leagues. Fantasy players should make the former TCU star their top priority off the waiver wire this week.
