Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa had the latest in a long line of concussions in Week 2. It was a concerning development, considering Tagovailoa's long injury history, especially that of brain injuries.
Tagovailoa had a solid season in 2023, but it looks like 2024 will be quite a bit rougher. When he returns, he'll still have elite weapons in WRs Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle -- okay, Waddle isn't exactly elite, but he's fast -- and head coach Mike McDaniel calling his creative schemes to generate explosive offenses.
When all things are considered, is Tagovailoa worth dropping, or should managers keep him on their rosters? Let's dive in.

Should I Drop Tua Tagovailoa in Fantasy Football?
While Tagovailoa did have a good 2023, he was just the QB9 overall, and the Dolphins offense looked like it had taken a step back even when Tagovailoa was healthy. The Dolphins barely beat a Jacksonville Jaguars team in Week 1 that went on to get obliterated by the Buffalo Bills.
The Dolphins then went on to muster just 10 points against the Bills in Week 2. It wasn't pretty. RB De'Von Achane was essentially the only piece of the offense that worked. The Bills shut down Hill and Waddle for the most part, and the game wasn't competitive. Tagovailoa did score over 15 fantasy points in Week 1, though.
But if Tagovailoa needs to face a horrendous defense to still put up less than 20 points, he's not worth having in single QB leagues unless he's stashed on your IR spot or you're in a very deep league. Tagovailoa doesn't have rushing upside and the Dolphins offense seems to have regressed.
The Miami Dolphins are the only team in the NFL to not hold a lead for a single second this season 😮

Who Should I Pickup in Week 4 Fantasy Football?
There are quite a few options at quarterback, both to roster for extended periods, to start until the wheels fall off (if they do), or to stream.
If Minnesota Vikings QB Sam Darnold is on waivers in your league, he should be a priority pickup. Darnold is in an excellent offensive system on a team with elite weapons like WR Justin Jefferson, RB Aaron Jones, and second-year WR Jordan Addison returning soon. The Vikings have a great offensive line as well.
Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Justin Fields showed off his legs again, rushing for a touchdown against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 3. Rushing is a cheat code in normal scoring formats for quarterbacks, and while Fields doesn't pass much, he has a soft matchup against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 4.
JUSTIN FIELDS SHOULD BE THE #STEELERS QB1, one of his teammates on the sideline yelled out after Justin scored a touchdown.

Fields is likely to remain the starter, and Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin has already declared him the starter for Week 4.
New York Giants QB Daniel Jones (I know, please hear me out) is a nice streaming option against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 4 if you're desperate. WR Malik Nabers has been a revelation, the offensive line is playing much better, and RB Devin Singletary has been excellent at taking some load off Jones' shoulders.
