Going into fantasy football drafts, Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews was a strong target for fantasy managers in the fourth or fifth round. Andrews averaged 13.5 PPR fantasy points across 10 games last year and finished as a top-6 fantasy tight end in four of the past five seasons.
However, Andrews is off to a poor start in 2024. After seeing just one target last week against the Cowboys, the veteran tight end will enter Week 4 as the TE29 in PPR formats.
So, should I drop Andrews in fantasy in Week 4? Who should I replace him with? Let's dive in and find out.

Should I Drop Mark Andrews in Fantasy Football?
Fantasy managers were told not to panic after Andrews totaled just two catches for 14 yards in Week 1. While things got better for the 29-year-old in Week 2 -- when he caught four passes for 51 yards -- his fantasy value reached an all-time low last week. He didn't catch any passes against Dallas and played only 33% of the team's offensive snaps.
Head coach John Harbaugh explained on Monday that Andrews' low snap share had to do with the team being in "big personnel." Playing just 20 snaps, though, is certainly not great news for the tight end's fantasy value for the rest of the season. However, you shouldn't be dropping him in fantasy just yet.

The tight-end position has been rough to navigate this year, so fantasy managers will essentially replace Andrews with someone who isn't much better. Hopefully, things get better for the Ravens tight end as the season goes on.
Who Should I Pickup in Week 4 Fantasy Football?
If someone in your league drops Andrews, make sure to pick him up ahead of Week 4. Despite the slow start to the season, this is a tight end who has an impressive fantasy track record. So, things could get better for him in an elite offense.
Mark Andrews played 20 snaps (33%) yesterday - third most among Ravens' TEs.
Only 6 of the 20 were pass plays. He ran 4 routes and was targeted once.
Note that he played 69% of the snaps during Weeks 1-2, but only saw 7 targets.
He's literally never been used this little.

Now, if you own Andrews and don't want to start him in Week 4 against the Bills, there are a couple of tight ends fantasy managers should be looking to pick up. Mike Gesicki (41%) and Zach Ertz (23%) have been solid fantasy options so far this season and could lead your tight-end group until the Ravens figure out ways to get their star playmaker the ball.
