The fantasy community rejoiced when the Kansas City Chiefs acquired Kadarius Toney from the New York Giants earlier this season.
Toney flashed his seemingly unlimited potential in his second game with the Chiefs in Week 10, but was injured in Week 11 and has yet to return to the KC lineup.
He is an undeniably-talented receiver in a terrific environment for fantasy production, but Toney's neverending injury issues are pushing fantasy managers to their brink. Is it time to drop him from fantasy rosters?

What Has Kadarius Toney Done This Season?
A first-round pick for the New York Giants in 2021, Kadarius Toney displayed eye-popping potential in limited action during his rookie campaign, totaling 420 yards on 39 receptions. Despite his obvious talent, the former Florida Gator was a constant injury concern and appeared in parts of just 10 games last year.
His injury woes carried over into the 2022 season and Toney saw action in just two games for New York this year. A midseason trade that sent him to Kansas City seemed to be the perfect opportunity to ignite his career.
The 23-year-old flashed that potential soon after his arrival in KC by catching four passes for 57 yards and a TD, while rushing for 33 yards on two carries, in just his second game in a Chiefs uniform.
Unfortunately, that Week 10 outing has been the lone bright spot for Toney with the Chiefs, as he reaggravated a seemingly neverending hamstring injury in Week 11 and has not yet returned to action.
Can I Drop Kadarius Toney in Fantasy Football?
The fantasy community was in total buzz mode when the Chiefs acquired Toney from the Giants and that excitement reached a fever pitch after his Week 10 performance against Jacksonville.
Unfortunately, Toney appears to be as injury-prone as he is talented. Just like in New York, the enigmatic receiver has been unable to stay on the field for Kansas City and last suited up in Week 11.
This is one of those tough decisions that fantasy managers must force themselves to make from time to time, as Toney is an unquestioned talent that has almost unlimited fantasy potential. However, you have to actually play to score fantasy points and that's something the dynamic wide receiver has been unable to do during his time in the NFL.
He's nearly impossible to trust at this point. As fantasy GMs eye their league's playoffs, Toney is simply too risky in his current condition. Those with plenty of room on their benches can feel fine stashing Toney away, but managers in need of the roster spot or looking to sneak into the playoffs can move on from the receiver that's all potential and no production.
