Should I Drop Jaylen Waddle? Fantasy Football Outlook For Week 10

Jaylen Waddle - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL DFS Picks

Should I drop Jaylen Waddle for fantasy football Week 10? Is Keenan Allen a safe player to cut? Read the fantasy football waivers outlook.

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle is one of the more talented pass catchers in the NFL. However, his fantasy football value has taken a hit since the team traded for Tyreek Hill.

The former Alabama has struggled with injuries in his career. More importantly, fantasy players can’t trust him unless Tua Tagovailoa is healthy.

Unfortunately, Waddle has severely struggled this season. Should fantasy players cut their losses and move on or hold onto him for another week?

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Should I Drop Jaylen Waddle?

Waddle is the WR68 for the year, averaging 6.5 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. The star wide receiver has seen more than six targets in only one game this season, totaling eight in Week 5 against the New England Patriots. More importantly, he hasn’t scored more than 6.6 fantasy points in a game since totaling 13.7 opening weekend against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Last week, Waddle had one of the most unusual fantasy football stat lines in history. He finished with 6.6 fantasy points against the Buffalo Bills. The star wide receiver caught both targets for negative four yards and a touchdown.

Unfortunately, Miami’s offense is out of sorts. De'Von Achane is the only Dolphin fantasy players can trust in their lineups. While Waddle isn’t a must-drop wide receiver, fantasy players in shallow leagues can drop the veteran if needed.

Who Can I Add Off The Waiver Wire?

Ideally, fantasy players in shallow leagues can wait to drop Waddle. However, I would drop him without thinking twice for Jameson Williams. The Detroit Lions wide receiver could be on the waiver wire in shallow league after serving a two-game suspension. Thankfully, he is back on the active roster and will play Sunday night against the Houston Texans.

Williams had a poor performance before the two-game suspension, totaling 0.1 fantasy points against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 7. However, he has played well this season, averaging 13.1 fantasy points per game over the first five contests, totaling 11.9 or more in all but one.
