Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Jalen Tolbert has had a solid season after little impact early in his career. The third-year wide receiver is the WR42 for the year, averaging 8.5 half-point PPR fantasy points per game.
Tolbert has stepped up with Brandin Cooks on injured reserve because of a knee injury, averaging six targets and 10 fantasy points per game in the four contests without the veteran wide receiver.
However, the Cowboys traded for Jonathan Mingo earlier today. Should fantasy players drop Tolbert with Mingo joining the team or hold onto the third-year pro?

Should I Drop Jalen Tolbert?
Fantasy players should not drop Tolbert because of Mingo. The former Carolina Panthers second-round pick won’t impact Tolbert’s fantasy production. However, fantasy players can drop the former South Alabama star this week.
He is coming off a poor performance, scoring only 9.4 fantasy points despite finding the end zone, totaling three receptions on six targets for 19 receiving yards against the Atlanta Falcons. More importantly, Tolbert will be without his starting quarterback for a month. Dak Prescott suffered a hamstring injury in Week 9 that will land him on injured reserve.

Who Can I Add Off The Waiver Wire?
Hopefully, fantasy players can land a more appealing option off the waiver wire, like Xavier Legette or Quentin Johnston. However, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine is available in 99% of Yahoo leagues and is a solid option. The veteran has taken over as the No. 2 wide receiver opposite Calvin Ridley since the Tennessee Titans traded away DeAndre Hopkins.
Westbrook-Ikhine has averaged 2.5 receptions on four targets for 27 receiving yards and 10 fantasy points per game over the past four weeks, scoring a touchdown in every contest. More importantly, he is coming off his best performance this year, totaling five receptions on six targets for 50 receiving yards and 13.5 fantasy points, all season highs.
Westbrook-Ikhine has a TD in four straight games! This one to give the @Titans the lead!
