The early season potential of Isaiah Likely in fantasy football has dwindled, and fantasy managers want to know if it is worth dropping the tight end.
The Baltimore Ravens player had a breakout game in Week 1, but his production has been inconsistent since. For those needing steady points, Likely's output may not be worth the roster spot.
Let's consider whether to hold or drop him and explore alternatives at tight end that could bring more stable value.

Should I Drop Isaiah Likely in Fantasy Football?
After his impressive 26.10 PPR points in Week 1, Likely set high expectations but has yet to deliver on a constant basis. He has posted only one other strong game this season, scoring 16.30 points in Week 5 against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Outside of those two performances, he has been a risky play, posting single-digit scores in the other weeks.
Although he ranks as TE13, making him technically viable, his reliance on big plays and limited target share makes him a player you can part with.

Over his last three games, Likely has seen four targets per game. While consistent, the lack of targets is uninspiring. The Ravens offense, led by Lamar Jackson, has several go-to options, including tight end Mark Andrews. Wide receiver Diontae Johnson just joined the roster as well.
Given Likely's lack of consistency and the target competition in Baltimore, he is worth dropping, especially in 8-10 team leagues. Just ensure that you have someone on your roster worth starting over him, whether from picking them up on waivers or because you held two TEs.
Who Should I Pick Up to Replace Isaiah Likely?
If you are considering dropping Likely, more stable options are available at tight end in many leagues.
Tucker Kraft, rostered in 77% of Sleeper leagues, offers a reliable alternative and is very involved in the Green Bay Packers offense.
Cade Otton, rostered in 72% of leagues, had a breakout in Week 8 with two touchdowns, taking advantage of Mike Evans' and Chris Godwin's absences due to injuries. Otton's role could continue to expand with Godwin on injured reserve, making the tight end a solid add.

Zach Ertz is another attractive option, rostered in 40% of leagues and coming off three consecutive double-digit fantasy games. His steady production and high target count make him more dependable than Likely, especially in PPR leagues.
Lastly, Hunter Henry, who is rostered in 42% of leagues, is a steady option and a viable replacement for Likely.
If you need more consistent weekly production, replacing Likely with any of these tight ends could improve your roster stability and boost your chances of earning valuable points at the position.
