Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott continues to struggle in his return to the team. In Week 4, Elliott had five carries for 19 yards, which was somehow his second-best yardage total of the season.
At this point, is there any reason to have Elliott on your fantasy football roster?
Let’s take a closer look and assess what you should potentially be doing if Elliott is on your fantasy squad.

Should I Drop Ezekiel Elliott in Fantasy Football?
Honestly, you could have dropped Ezekiel Elliott before Week 4. Back in Week 3, Elliott had a season-low of three carries, finishing with just six rushing yards. He also added one catch for six yards. He hadn't been producing this season, but those struggles reached a new low against the Ravens.
I suppose you could call Week 4 a bounce back, as five carries for 19 yards and one catch for five yards is an improvement over Week 3, but let's be real here: Elliott doesn't have fantasy value at this point.

The veteran back is averaging just 20.3 rushing yards per game. There's simply no upside right now for fantasy managers to roster Elliott. Even if Rico Dowdle were to get hurt, Elliott would be an RB3 play if he was the No. 1 back.
There's no real upside to rostering Elliott right now. Send the two-time rushing yardage leader back to the waiver wire.

One option to look at, if he's available in your league, is Trey Sermon. With Colts running back Jonathan Taylor suffering an ankle sprain, Sermon has short-term streaming appeal as he steps into a larger role.
Some other names to monitor include Braelon Allen, Bucky Irving, Chase Brown, and Tank Bigsby, who can all help your fantasy lineup in different ways.
