After the first three weeks of the season, Drake London looked like the steal of the draft. He was the WR14, averaging over 17 points, and supplanted himself above Kyle Pitts as Atlanta's top receiver.
The eighth-overall pick from this year's draft has cooled off since, failing to score over 7.5 points since Week 3. London has finished outside the weekly top-48 wide receivers for six consecutive weeks.
Many fantasy owners are pondering whether or not they should drop London amid his fantasy drought. What happened with Drake London this year? Should you drop Drake London in fantasy football?

What Happened With Drake London in Fantasy Football?
There's no doubt that Drake London is an elite talent at wide receiver. The 21-year-old has glimmered with potential all season long, anchored by his hot start to 2022. At 6'4" with a 6'10" wingspan, London is the big-bodied target any air-raid offense wishes for. The problem is, Atlanta is not an air-raid offense.
The Falcons are averaging 22.3 pass attempts and 176.3 passing yards per game, the third-worst in the league. Marcus Mariota has completed fewer than 15 passes in five games this year. Atlanta's inept pass attack is the downward-driving force to London's fantasy value.
Drake London has the eighth-highest target share in the league at 29%. Typically, that supports an elite fantasy season. Atlanta's run-dominant offense has dampened London's hot start to his career.
Should I Drop Drake London in Fantasy Football?
Week 9 marked the fifth game London has seen seven or more targets. The rookie is averaging 7.8 targets per game with Cordarrelle Patterson healthy, compared to 4.3 targets per game when Patterson was hurt. CP's return could spark a resurgence in London's fantasy value.
Atlanta's top receiver still has more fantasy points than Brandin Cooks, Allen Robinson, and Robert Woods. London's rest-of-season schedule is very favorable, highlighted by matchups with Carolina, Washington, Pittsburgh, and Baltimore.
Don't lose hope with Drake London quite yet. The first-round pick flashed his potential early in the year. If London's efficiency can catch up with his volume, he will have a strong finish to his rookie campaign. Unless your league has fewer than 10 teams, Drake London should remain on your roster.
