Who is the Kansas City Chiefs RB2?

With the Kansas City Chiefs recently acquiring veteran running back Samaje Perine, the backup running back spot instantly becomes up for grabs with former backup Edwards-Helaire. Perine was used as the receiving back in Denver, as he caught 50 passes for 455 yards.

Edwards-Helaire has struggled since his rookie season in Kansas City, and with Perine entering the running back room, it seems as if Edwards-Helaire will see the field less going forward. Kansas City will likely use Perine's catching ability on third downs and should see the field more than CEH each week as Mahomes' new weapon.

 

Who Should I Draft in Fantasy Football?

Drafting Samaje Perine in fantasy football offers a compelling opportunity, especially considering his fresh start with the Kansas City Chiefs. Perine brings a blend of power and pass-catching ability, making him a versatile option in the Chiefs' dynamic offense.
