The 2023 regular season season is almost here. That means fantasy players have less than a month to complete all of their fantasy football drafts.
One of the toughest decisions fantasy players have to make every year is deciding between two similar options. Since fantasy players can’t possibly draft both guys, they must make the hard decision on which player to pick.
Today we look at whether fantasy players should draft Davante Adams or Garrett Wilson.

Should I Draft Davante Adams?
According to the RotoBaller ADP, Adams is the ninth wide receiver off the board and a mid-second-round pick in 12-team leagues.
The superstar has been arguably the top wide receiver in the NFL over the past six years. Adams has made the pro bowl each of those six seasons. Furthermore, he made the AP All-Pro First Team the past three years.
More importantly, Adams totaled at least 100 receptions, 1,370 receiving yards, and 11 touchdowns each of the past three seasons. Furthermore, the superstar had 100 receptions on 180 targets for 1,516 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns last year, leading the NFL in receiving touchdowns.
Adams had led the NFL in receiving touchdowns in two of the past three years. More importantly, he has scored 43 receiving touchdowns over the past 47 games.
However, some are worried the superstar wide receiver could struggle this season. The Las Vegas Raiders swapped out Derek Carr for Jimmy Garoppolo at quarterback this offseason. Reportedly, Garoppolo has struggled to push the ball downfield in training camp.
Should I Draft Garrett Wilson?
Wilson is the 10th wide receiver off the board and a mid-to-late second-round pick in 12-team leagues, according to the RotoBaller ADP. The second-year receiver is a popular breakout candidate after the New York Jets acquired Aaron Rodgers this offseason.
Reportedly Wilson has become a go-to target for Rodgers. The future Hall of Fame quarterback has repeatedly praised the second-year wide receiver to the media. Rodgers and Wilson have already built a strong connection.
Last year the former Ohio State star joined Chris Olave as the only two rookie wide receivers with over 1,000 receiving yards. Wilson had 83 receptions on 147 targets for 1,103 receiving yards and four touchdowns despite the quarterback situation.
While both players are excellent options in the second round, fantasy players should draft Adams over Wilson. Despite the change at quarterback, the veteran wide receiver has played well with multiple quarterbacks in his career.
