Should I Bench Breece Hall? Fantasy Football Outlook for Week 15

Breece Hall - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Injury News

Should I sit and bench Breece Hall in Week 15 for fantasy football lineups? Read our Breece Hall fantasy football outlook and if you should bench Breece Hall.

New York Jets running back Breece Hall (knee) scored just 6.0 PPR fantasy points in Week 13, then wasn't able to play in Week 14 after he aggravated a knee injury he'd been struggling with. We have our suspicions about his injury, which we'll detail later, but many fantasy managers are wondering if they should bench him.

He was one of the first RBs taken off the board in fantasy football drafts this season, and many managers are likely kicking themselves for not taking Philadelphia Eagles RB Saquon Barkley instead. Regardless, he's been a startable asset for most of the season, so it was surprising to see him score so little in Week 13. He's officially questionable for Week 15, but the belief is that he will suit up.

So should you bench Hall this week?

Should I Bench Breece Hall for Fantasy Football?

We wouldn't recommend benching him if he plays unless you have a clear better option. It depends on who else you have on your roster. But it's highly possible that the knee issue Hall has is the same one that popped up before the season. Those who have good memory may remember that it held him out of preseason action.

He still had elite speed in 2023, even after his ACL tear. He doesn't have that speed this season. His explosiveness has taken a big step back.

There's probably something going on that we're not privy to. Still, we wouldn't recommend benching him. He has a lot of value in PPR leagues, and he's motivated to play and finish out his season well. The narrative that players give up after they have a losing season simply isn't true.

And the Jets will play the Jacksonville Jaguars, who have an awful defense.

UPDATE: Hall is officially ACTIVE for Week 15

Who Should I Pickup in Week 15 Fantasy Football?

Fellow Jets RBs Isaiah Davis and Braelon Allen, both rookies, are rostered in most leagues, but if one is available, they're both solid starts against the bad Jags defense. Otherwise, you could take a shot on Las Vegas Raiders running back Sincere McCormick, but he's likely taken in many leagues as well.

This late in the season, there aren't a lot of great options. You could take a shot on New York Giants running back Devin Singletary, who will play against a poor New Orleans Saints run defense, but don't expect him to get much volume.
