Should I Pick Up Tutu Atwell For Fantasy Football? Waiver Wire Outlook for Week 15

Tutu Atwell - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

Should I pickup and start Tutu Atwell for fantasy football Week 15? Is Tutu Atwell a good fantasy pick off the waiver wire? Read the fantasy football outlook.

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Tutu Atwell has had a limited career thus far. However, the former second-round pick has shown potential this season.

The former Louisville star was buried on the depth chart behind Cooper Kupp and Allen Robinson to start the year. Unfortunately, injuries forced the young receiver into a starting role.

Despite his limited production over the first 16 games of his career, Atwell played well last week in a win over the Las Vegas Raiders.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Should I Add Tutu Atwell For Fantasy Football Week 15?

Atwell has played well the past two weeks, totaling seven receptions on 14 targets for 98 receiving yards and 15.1 half-point PPR fantasy points. However, he had the best game of his career last week on Thursday Night Football.

The former second-round pick had five receptions and nine targets against the Raiders, both career highs. While Atwell had only seven fantasy points in the win, the former Louisville star made several impressive receptions in the game.

While his performance was impressive, should fantasy players add Atwell to their roster for Week 15? The answer is no. Fantasy players should check their dynasty waiver wire for the young receiver. If he is available, fantasy players should add him immediately. However, Atwell isn’t worth adding in most redraft leagues.

Last week he had a fantasy-friendly matchup against the Raiders. Unfortunately, his matchup this week is much more difficult. The Green Bay Packers have held wide receivers to 25.2 fantasy points per game this season, the ninth-fewest in the NFL. Furthermore, they haven’t allowed a wide receiver to score a receiving touchdown in nearly half of the games this year.

What Other Wide Receivers Should I Consider For Week 15?

Instead of adding Atwell, fantasy players should add Alec Pierce. The rookie receiver is available in nearly 90% of ESPN leagues.

The Indianapolis Colts receiver has flashed star potential as a rookie. More importantly, he has shown the ability to make plays downfield for Matt Ryan, including two weeks ago against the Dallas Cowboys.

Furthermore, Piece has seen eight targets in two of the past three contests, including two weeks ago against Dallas. In those two contests, the rookie has averaged 3.5 receptions, 57 receiving yards, and 10.5 fantasy points per game.

This week he faces the Minnesota Vikings. The NFC North division leaders have surrendered 34.1 fantasy points per game to wide receivers this season, the second-most in the NFL. Last week, they gave up over 270 receiving yards, three touchdowns, and 55.9 fantasy points to the Detroit Lions wide receivers.
