It was looking like Shin-Soo Choo's second season as a member of the Rangers would be a lot like his first, as he tallied just a .427 OPS in 52 at-bats in April. The 33-year-old rallied after the shaky start, posting a monstrous .343/.455/.560 slash line after the All-Star break. While the strong finish is encouraging, Choo remained little more than a platoon player throughout the course of the season, as he slugged just .376 against southpaws in 210 at-bats. He also notched only four stolen bases, giving him seven over the past two seasons after swiping at least 20 in four of the previous five campaigns. While his deficiencies may prevent him from being one of the top players at the position, he comes with a reasonable price tag in standard drafts (currently listed as a composite mid-round selection) and could return at a much higher rate than in OBP leagues if he is able to catch fire once again.
