ANALYSIS: As if the defending American League champions (and owners of the AL's best current record) needed any more help, Shane Baz made his major league debut on Monday and was excellent. Tasked with facing a red-hot Blue Jays squad, the 22-year-old earned a win with five solid frames, allowing just two hits while striking out five and walking none. Unfortunately both of the hits were home runs, but it was an impressive effort all the same.
