BALLER MOVE: Stash in All Leagues
CALL-UP ETA: July
ANALYSIS: Tampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Shane Baz is beginning to find his footing at Triple-A and is on the verge of returning to the major leagues.
Baz underwent Tommy John surgery in 2022 and has faced a few setbacks this season, which have delayed his return. Nonetheless, Baz returned to the Triple-A mound on May 23 and has begun to improve after every outing.
Shane Baz's performance has seen a significant upturn. After posting a 7.71 ERA and 1.96 WHIP in his first 16 ⅓ innings, he has shown a substantial improvement with a 1.57 ERA and 1.30 WHIP in his most recent 23 innings.

During this stretch, Baz has struck out at least six batters on four occasions and even reached double-digit punchouts in one start on June 8.
The 25-year-old right-hander has put his injury setbacks behind him and is beginning to showcase his elite strikeout potential as he did a few years back. Once he returns to the majors, he can be a high-impact pitcher in the second half of the season and is worth stashing in all leagues.
