ANALYSIS: Somebody please explain to me how in the world such a beast as Shake Milton is just part of a roster in one of every three Yahoo leagues. I don't need to make any deep study here to make you see the upside and convince you of adding Milton to your squad in this very moment: Milton is putting up an average 14-1-3-1 line in nine games for the Sixers, Philly is thriving, and Milton even started last Thursday's game against Brooklyn.
So you need more? No problem. Milton has played 20+ minutes every game this season and is actually logging almost 26 MPG in the season. On top of that, his usage rate (on both the second unit and starting) is up to 22.7% and it has yet to drop below 15.2 percent in any single game. Milton is attempting a very healthy 10.6 FGA per game, shooting 45.2 percent from the floor, and has only one performance in which he didn't score at least one triple.
Even more, you say? Alright. This is Milton in the last five games going back to Dec. 31st: 17 PPG, 2.2 RPG, 4.6 AGP and four total steals. If anything, only the 1.4 turnovers are cutting his upside just a tiny bit. Oh, and the Sixers' Seth Curry just tested positive for COVID opening the door to Milton to keep playing heavy minutes for a couple of weeks starting this weekend. Must. Add. Milton. Now.
