The Seattle Seahawks shocked the league by making the playoffs in 2022 in what was expected to be a rebuilding year for the franchise behind stellar quarterback play from a resurgent Geno Smith.
Entering 2023, the Seahawks’ talented team does not appear to have many holes in the roster and they could make noise this season if Smith keeps up his Pro Bowl-caliber play.
Let’s take a look at Seattle’s 2023 schedule and see how it holds up fantasy-wise.

2023 Seahawks Schedule Analysis for Fantasy Football
The Seahawks will face a less-than-ideal schedule for fantasy purposes in 2023. Having an early bye in Week 5 is great to get it out of the way, but also means that players are expected to play thirteen straight weeks to close the season.
The season opener against the Rams should be an intriguing matchup. While they had a horrible season a year ago due to being ravaged by injuries, they are only two years removed from a Super Bowl title and should be healthy in Week 1.
Weeks 2-4 offer fairly solid fantasy matchups against Detroit, Carolina, and the New York Giants. Last year’s 48-45 game between Seattle and Detroit may have been the fantasy matchup of the season and anything remotely close to that would be a fantasy goldmine.
The Week 11-15 stretch of the season is super brutal both fantasy-wise and real-life football-wise for the Seahawks. A divisional matchup with a potentially healthy Rams team followed by San Francisco, Dallas, San Francisco again, and Philadelphia may be the hardest stretch any team has this season.
The fantasy playoff stretch from Weeks 15-17 includes Philadelphia, Tennessee, and Pittsburgh as opponents. While the season is still far away and injuries, trades, and more can alter the way a matchup is viewed from a fantasy perspective, Seattle’s late-season schedule looks as if it is going to be best to avoid.
