ANALYSIS: Sean Manaea turned in his first victory since June 29 in a start against the Mariners on Aug. 12— the rookie had gone nearly a month and a half without a notch in the victory column. That’s not to say he hasn’t been improved, though, as he’s posted a 2.84 ERA across his last seven outings with five quality starts nestled in there. He’ll face a tough Rangers team next on the road on Aug. 17.
