BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 50% of Yahoo Leagues
ANALYSIS: Cincinnati Reds outfielder Scott Schebler has it all going on right now. Schebler has already hit 14 home runs, and if it weren't for the mediocre team around him, he'd have some extra counting stats to show for it. Schebler has the benefit of a super-friendly hitter's ballpark which is good enough to counteract his supporting cast. Schebler is doing a lot of what Adam Duvall did last year with a breakout year, and it's proving to be the 26-year-old's time to show off some power. He won't hit much more than home runs, but at the Great American Ball Park, but he does have 30 home run potential.
As alluded to earlier, power is going to be the main attraction for those looking at Schebler, as his batting average sits at .247 for the season, but four home runs over the last week show that he is not slowing down at all. His strikeout percentage dropping over three consecutive seasons is a good sign as well, showing that when Schebler makes contact, it will go a far distance. If you have players in your lineup that can make up for Schebler's low batting average, he is a nice addition in deep mixed leagues, but he is a must-own in shallow mixed leagues or NL-only leagues.
