BALLER MOVE: Continue Scouting
ANALYSIS: A spark plug of a player, Gennett is well on his way to being a fan favorite in Milwaukee. The Brewers are anxious to see if he can keep putting it together over a full season and hold down the 2B job. So far the results have been favorable, off to a fast start this year (6-for-20, 3 RBI), coming after a solid rookie campaign (.324-6-21 in only 213 AB). However, until Gennett proves that he can hit lefties better (.154 in 2013), he'll likely platoon at 2B with Reeky Weeks. Until he has the full time role, and until he can pick up the stolen bases a little better, he won't be a big fantasy threat. In very deep leagues he could be a viable bench option, but you should just continue scouting him for now.
