BALLER MOVE: Add in 14-Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 36% of Yahoo Leagues
ANALYSIS: Kansas City Chiefs running back Samaje Perine was mostly a fantasy afterthought over the first two weeks, totaling two receptions for 13 receiving yards and 2.3 half-point PPR fantasy points. However, his role on offense drastically changed after the Chiefs lost Isiah Pacheco to a potentially season-ending ankle injury in Week 2.
The veteran running back saw his first rushing attempt of the year last night against the Atlanta Falcons. Perine had six rushing attempts for 25 yards and three receptions for 15 receiving yards, scoring 5.5 fantasy points.
However, he didn’t take the lead role away from Carson Steele. While the undrafted rookie played 28% more of the snaps and had 11 more rushing attempts, Perine had twice as many targets last night.
#Chiefs Week 3 RB Usage
- Carson Steele: 64% snaps, 17 carries, 17 routes, 2 targets (74 yds)
- Samaje Perine: 36% snaps, 6 carries, 13 routes, 4 targets (40 yds)Neither got to 9 PPR points

Fantasy players can add Perine as a depth piece in deeper leagues. However, Kareem Hunt could make his season debut in Week 4. Therefore, fantasy players shouldn’t have significant expectations for anyone in the Chiefs backfield.

BALLER MOVE: Don't Add ROSTERED IN: 3% of Leagues ANALYSIS: It's still not a good idea to use a waiver claim or even a bench spot on Buffalo Bills wide receiver Mack Hollins. He caught all four of his targets for 86 yards last week, but that performance was the exception rather than the rule […]
