ANALYSIS: Minnesota Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold has looked quite sharp through the first two weeks of the regular season and should be viewed as a low-end QB1 in this weekend as he will face the Houston Texans.
Darnold has thrown for at least two scores in each of the first two weeks while averaging 238.0 passing yards. He has also thrown at least one pass over over 40+ yards in each game and thrown at least one pass within the five-yard line in each game which has boosted fantasy production.

This weekend he will face a Houston defense that has done well in limiting the pass by allowing an average of 166.5 yards per game. However, with elite playmakers such as Justin Jefferson at his disposal, Darnold could always have a path to having a successful game despite the matchup.
In addition, the spread for this game currently sits at a 46 O/U line (which is one of the higher marks of the weekend), suggesting both teams could light up the scoresheet on Sunday afternoon.
