BALLER MOVE: Add in All Leagues
OWNED IN: 41% of leagues
ANALYSIS: A popular target in the middle-to-late rounds of fantasy drafts after a torrid spring, early returns were disappointing for Ryan McMahon and owners who had invested in his services. He produced a lousy .200/310/.280 line in the season's opening week before landing on the injured list with a sprained elbow. In his first game back on Thursday night, however, he homered twice and drove in five of the Rockies' six runs in a win over the Phillies.
Owners obviously can't expect that kind of production on a consistent basis, but with Daniel Murphy on the shelf and Garrett Hampson scuffling, McMahon has a chance to assert himself as an everyday player in Colorado. Thursday's heroics have led to a surge in his ownership over the last 24 hours, but you can still nab him on the wire in nearly 60 percent of Yahoo leagues.
