ANALYSIS: Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson had an awful 2022 season. His first year with the team couldn’t have gone worse. Yet, some had high hopes for the veteran quarterback after the team acquired Sean Payton.
Wilson hasn’t been a fantasy superstar but has played well. He is the QB13 for the year, averaging 17 fantasy points per game. The former Wisconsin star has completed 67.9% of his pass attempts for 1,806 yards and 18 touchdowns. Furthermore, the veteran has been one of the top quarterbacks in the end zone this season.
Over the past two games, Wilson has five passing touchdowns and 36.3 fantasy points despite having fewer than 30 pass attempts in both contests. After struggling to score touchdowns in 2022, the veteran has been much better this year.
Meanwhile, he faces the Minnesota Vikings in Week 11. The Vikings have played well defensively lately. Over their past five matchups, they’ve held quarterbacks to only one passing touchdown and 13.4 fantasy points per game. While the veteran has played well over the past few weeks, Wilson isn’t a top-12 starting option against the Vikings.
