BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED: 13% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: It is hard to imagine there being room for another wide receiver to find success in the Falcons lineup when Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley are putting up such monster numbers, but Russell Gage has found space for a nice season in his own right to this point. Gage's work volume has been a bit of an up and down tale thus far, but he's found a nice floor, having yet to receive less than three targets and 18% of offensive snaps in any game this season.
The former LSU Tiger has had his share of standout performances this year for Atlanta as well. In Week One against the Seahawks, Gage reeled in nine balls out of 12 targets for 114 yards, and followed that showing up with six catches out of nine targets for 46 yards and a touchdown in Week Two against the Cowboys. Then, after a string of more quiet performances, the third-year Falcons receiver accumulated ten receptions out of 11 targets, good for 119 combined yards, from Week Six through Week Seven in matchups with the Vikings and Lions. He might not be a high-volume performer on a weekly basis, but in averaging 41 offensive snaps, 5.75 targets, 4.13 receptions, and 46 receiving yards per contest, Russell Gage is a a bet worth taking in the coming weeks as the options run thin.
